Digital Photography - Mark Abbott
This intensive one day course is for beginning to intermediate level. It explores the various aspects of digital technology involving the basics of using a digital camera, shooting raw vs. jpegs, understanding histograms, organizing files and storage with an introduction to Adobe Photoshop Elements, the digital darkroom.
In addition, we will cover the basics of photography: exposure, depth of field, handling motion, the use of flash, etc. and how you can use these principles to make better photos. Weather permitting we will spend some time outside shooting and practicing what we have learned in class. Members of this workshop are expected to provide their own cameras. Please bring your camera, camera manual and spare batteries to class.

Introduction to Adobe Photoshop - Mark Abbott
This one day workshop introduces Adobe Photoshop and the basic tools used to enhance photographs. The class will cover adjusting lighting, color corrections, converting to black and white, masking, cloning, and other topics useful to the photographer.
